在“六四事件”36周年之际，我们身处荷兰的中国流亡者与异议家庭，谨以此文纪念1989年那场震撼世界的民主运动，并向在天安门广场倒下的英魂致敬。今天，我们不仅为死难者举起烛光，更为真相而坚持、为自由而发声。
1989年6月4日，北京，天安门广场。一群手无寸铁的青年学生和平请愿，要求民主、自由、反腐与法治，却遭遇血腥镇压。那一夜，枪声震彻长空，坦克碾压人群，数以千计的生命被永远留在了广场上。官方至今拒绝承认责任，真相被封锁，记忆被抹去。
而我的父亲，正是这场运动的亲历者，2008年又成为《零八宪章》的联署发起人之一，为推动中国政治体制改革呕心沥血，承受多年监控、边控与打压。他的经历，凝结了中国民主斗争的血与泪，也映照出我们流亡生活的真实背景。
今天，六四仍在延续——不仅因为真相尚未昭雪，更因为压迫仍在继续。中共政权对言论自由的压制早已越过国界，渗透到西方社会。在荷兰，我们也遭遇身份威胁、A.A. Ubbergen律师造假，导致法律不公、庇护受阻，甚至被亲共势力操控与攻击。但正因为如此，我们更明白：纪念六四，不只是追思历史，更是保卫现实中的自由空间。
我们纪念六四，不是为了延续仇恨，而是为了让世界记住那一代中国人的理想与牺牲；我们在海外守护记忆，是为了让自由的火种不被熄灭，也为了让我们的下一代能够在真实与尊严中成长。
即使被迫流亡，即使孤立无援，我们依然相信：
六四没有结束，真相未死，公义仍在路上。
愿历史不再沉默，愿正义不再迟到，愿自由终有归处。愿世界倾听我们的声音，理解我们的坚持，并共同守护那份人类最基本的信念：每一个人，都应有权说出真相，争取自由。

On the 36th anniversary of the “June Fourth Incident,” we, Chinese exiles and dissident families living in the Netherlands, dedicate this article to the memory of the 1989 pro-democracy movement that shook the world, and to honor the martyrs who fell in Tiananmen Square. Today, we not only raise candles for the dead, but also persist for truth and speak out for freedom.
June 4, 1989, Beijing, Tiananmen Square. A group of unarmed young students peacefully petitioned for democracy, freedom, anti-corruption, and rule of law, yet were met with bloody suppression. That night, gunfire pierced the sky, tanks crushed the crowds, and thousands of lives were forever left behind in the square. To this day, the authorities refuse to acknowledge responsibility, the truth remains blocked, and memory is erased.
My father was himself a participant in that movement. In 2008, he also became one of the co-signing initiators of Charter 08, dedicating his efforts to promoting political reform in China, and suffering years of surveillance, travel bans, and persecution. His experience embodies the blood and tears of China’s democratic struggle, and also reflects the true background of our life in exile.
Today, June Fourth continues—not only because the truth has not yet been revealed, but because oppression still persists. The Chinese Communist regime’s suppression of free expression has long crossed borders, infiltrating into Western societies. Here in the Netherlands, we too have faced threats to our identity, falsifications by lawyer A.A. Ubbergen that led to legal injustice and obstruction of asylum, and even manipulation and attacks from pro-CCP forces. Yet precisely because of this, we understand even more clearly: commemorating June Fourth is not only about remembering history, but also about defending freedom in the present.
We commemorate June Fourth not to perpetuate hatred, but to ensure that the ideals and sacrifices of that generation of Chinese are remembered. We safeguard memory in exile so that the flame of freedom will not be extinguished, and so that our next generation may grow up in truth and dignity.
Even when forced into exile, even when isolated and without support, we still believe:
June Fourth has not ended, truth has not died, and justice is still on its way.
May history no longer remain silent, may justice no longer be delayed,
may freedom one day find its home.
May the world listen to our voices, understand our persistence,
and together guard that most fundamental belief of humankind:
that every person has the right to speak the truth and to strive for freedom.
