2025年7月26日，我与刘博文先生一同来到中共驻荷兰大使馆门前，用最简洁、最和平、却也最坚定的方式，表达我们对中共极权统治的抗议。 我们手举横幅，写着中英文两句话：“中共是魔鬼，世界请警醒。”、“中共专制是全人类的威胁。”
这不是一场作秀的示威，而是出自我们内心深处、对人类基本良知的呐喊。我们面对的，不只是大使馆冰冷的铁栏，而是整个压迫、封锁、扭曲人性的体制。 我们的行动完全和平合法。我们站在人行道上，没有使用扩音器，没有扰乱秩序，更没有影响大使馆正常运作。我们只是两位普通的良心公民，在自由世界的土地上行使言论自由的基本权利。
然而令人遗憾的是，中共使馆人员在看到我们举牌并拍照后，竟然选择报警。几分钟后荷兰警方到场，对我们进行了身份证检查。我们配合检查，并主动问道： “我们做了什么违法的事吗？”这句平静的提问，却道出了整个事件的荒谬本质：中共使馆并没有任何法律上的理由报警，只是出于*“政治不满”与对异议表达的敌意。换句话说，他们举报的目的，不是基于事实违法，而是出于“看不惯真话”的政治动机*。这是一种典型的“此地无银三百两”式反应。他们害怕的，不是我们做了什么，而是我们说出了他们不敢让世界听见的真相。 在民主国家，我们只是站在路边举一块布条，他们却如临大敌，借助荷兰警方想制造“震慑效果”。这不仅浪费东道国的警力资源，更构成对荷兰言论自由制度的某种蔑视与挑衅。 我们越温和，他们越歇斯底里； 我们越清白，他们越不安； 他们越想封锁，就越暴露了他们对真相的恐惧。
这场插曲，本身就是对我们横幅内容的最有力注解：中共是魔鬼，它害怕真相。 当警方了解情况后，警官回答说： “我们知道你们什么都没做违法的事。只是中国大使馆不开心了，他们报警了，我们只能照程序处理。” 这是一个令人无奈却真实的回答。它反映出中共如何试图把专制逻辑外溢到自由国度，以“扰警”方式压制在海外的异议声音。 这一切，对我而言不是轻松的选择。
近年来，我因受中共长期迫害，我已身心俱疲，正在荷兰接受心理治疗。当日，我本不应出门。但我强忍创伤积压的痛苦，只为站出一刻，说出自己的心声。 没想到中共的举报与警方的身份检查又一次将我推向精神崩溃的边缘。这次事件对我正在进行的心理治疗造成严重干扰，近期我不得不暂停公开表达活动，专注疗愈。
然而，我不会退缩。 我想说的是：自由与真相，从来不是凭空而来的。它们来自那些愿意承担代价、哪怕是孤身一人也要站出来的人。我希望早日康复，继续以更坚定、理性、有尊严的方式，为中国的自由、为世界的安全、为人类的良知发声。

On July 26, 2025, together with Mr. Liu Bowen, I went to the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands. In the simplest, most peaceful, yet most resolute way, we expressed our protest against the Chinese Communist Party’s authoritarian rule.
We held a banner with two statements in Chinese and English:
- “The CCP is the devil, the world must stay alert.”
- “CCP dictatorship is a threat to all humanity.”
This was not a staged performance or a hollow demonstration, but a cry from the depths of our conscience, an appeal to basic human decency. What we faced was not only the embassy’s cold iron fence, but the entire machinery of repression, censorship, and the distortion of human dignity.
Our action was entirely peaceful and lawful. We stood on the sidewalk, used no loudspeakers, did not disturb public order, nor did we obstruct the normal operations of the embassy. We were simply two ordinary citizens of conscience, exercising our basic right to free expression on the soil of a free country.
Yet regrettably, upon seeing our banner and taking photos of us, the Chinese embassy staff chose to call the police. Minutes later, Dutch police officers arrived and conducted an ID check. We cooperated and asked plainly: “Have we done anything illegal?”
This calm question revealed the absurdity of the situation: the embassy had no legal grounds to call the police. Their action was not based on any actual violation of law, but solely on “political displeasure” and hostility toward dissent. In other words, their report was not about facts, but about suppressing truths they could not bear the world to hear. It was a textbook “the guilty flee where no one pursues” reaction.
What they fear is not what we do, but what we say. In a democratic country, we merely stood by the roadside with a piece of cloth, yet they treated it as a grave threat, trying to use Dutch police to create an “intimidation effect.” This not only wastes the host country’s law enforcement resources, but also displays contempt and provocation toward the Netherlands’ system of free expression.
The more moderate we are, the more hysterical they become.
The more innocent we are, the more uneasy they grow.
The more they try to silence, the more they expose their fear of truth.
This episode itself became the most powerful annotation of our banner: the CCP is the devil—it fears the truth.
When the police understood the situation, the officer said:
“We know you have done nothing illegal. It’s just that the Chinese embassy was unhappy and called us, so we had to follow procedure.”
This was a helpless yet honest reply. It showed how the CCP attempts to extend its authoritarian logic beyond its borders, using “disturbance of police” tactics to suppress dissenting voices abroad.
For me, this was not an easy decision.
In recent years, due to long-term persecution by the CCP, I have been physically and mentally exhausted and am currently undergoing psychological treatment in the Netherlands. On that day, I should not have gone out at all. But I forced myself through the accumulated pain of trauma, just to stand up for one moment and speak my heart. Unexpectedly, the embassy’s complaint and the police ID check once again pushed me to the brink of mental collapse. This incident severely disrupted my ongoing therapy, and I have been forced to temporarily suspend public expression to focus on recovery.
Yet I will not retreat.
What I want to say is this: freedom and truth have never come without cost. They are carried forward by those willing to bear the price—those who will stand up even when alone. I hope to recover soon and to continue speaking out in a more determined, rational, and dignified way—for China’s freedom, for the world’s security, and for humanity’s conscience.
